Gardaí say they are concerned for the welfare of 53-year-old Alan Donohue from Cork City.

He is described at 6ft tall, of strong build with grey receding hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan coloured 3/4 length trench coat and dark blue jeans.

His last known whereabouts were at Henry Street in Cork City Centre on Tuesday morning at around 8.15.

Separately, Gardaí have appealed for information on missing 48-year-old Douglas Twomey.

He was last seen at his home in the Passage West area, on Tuesday, May 3rd.

He is described as being 6 feet tall, of stocky build with blue eyes and short grey/brown hair, and was wearing a green polo shirt, blue jeans a blue hoody and blue sketchers shoes. He may be driving a Maroon coloured Hyundai Santa Fe Jeep, Registration Number 04-C-6768.
