Over 20 people were on the coach at the time, and the four-by-four's occupants fled the scene.

This collision happened at around 11.30pm on the N2 at the North Road in Finglas.

A black SUV which had been reported stolen earlier that day, collided with a Bus Eireann bus flipping onto its side and crashing into a wall.

There were 21 people, including the driver, on the coach at the time but none of them were injured.

The driver and two passengers of the stolen vehicle were seen fleeing the scene in the direction of Kilshane Cross.

So far no arrests have been made, and Gardai are appealing for witnesses.

They're also keen to talk to anyone who may have noticed the four-by-four in the general area at the time
