Gardaí investigating Thomas Horan's murder, want to speak to any taxi drivers who picked up two people in the Cambridge Court area of Ringsend, Dublin on the day he died.
Mr. Horan's body (63) was discovered at his home in the sheltered accommodation complex for senior citizens at around 4am on Monday.
A post mortem examination showed he died from internal injuries and gardaí have launched a murder investigation.
A man (27) and a woman (37) are being held at Donnybrook and Irishtown garda stations.
Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information from the public and in particular they are hoping to talk to any taxi drivers who may have picked up or dropped off two people - a man and a woman - between 2am and 5am on Monday morning.

Thomas Horan moved into Cambridge Court three years ago.
He was found dead by a friend in the bedroom of his ground floor flat in the early hours of Monday morning.
