Gardai are hunting for a gang of up to five men involved in a botched post office robbery in Co. Tipperary.
The gang used a number of diggers to try to gain access to the post office in Cahir at around 5am this morning.
However it seems they fled when the alarm was triggered.

No-one was in the premises at the time and gardai say nothing was taken during the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to contact gardai.
