Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a serious alleged assault on Dublin’s Cook Street last week. 

On June 21st at 6.15 in the evening, a man in his 40s was allegedly attacked; he was taken to St James Hospital for treatment and Gardaí say he remains in a “critical condition”. 

Gardaí are especially interested in dash cam footage recorded on Cook Street, Dublin 8 between 6pm and 6.30pm on the day of the alleged assault.
