Gardaí in Clondalkin are appealing for information after a serious crash on the Naas Road heading out of Dublin.

At approximately 11:30am this morning two men were seriously injured when their motorcycles collided with the trailer of an articulated lorry.

The collision happened near St Raphael's Garda credit union not far from Moran's Hotel - heading towards Naas.

The injured men who were in their 40s and 50s were taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital.

The driver of the lorry failed to remain at the scene.
