Gardaí have seized cannabis worth approximately €180,000 in Dublin.

The drugs were discovered during searches at a house on Blakestown Road in Blanchardstown yesterday.

During the searches, a package containing around 9kg of herbal cannabis was seized by officers from the Revenue Custom’s Service.

Gardaí arrested two men in their 50s at the scene.

They are being held at Finglas Garda Station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
