Gardaí searching for Donal Greene say they have discovered a body in County Cavan.

The alarm was raised last weekend when the 22-year-old went missing in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Donal was last seen at Derryhassan in Ballyconnell but was originally from Oranmore in Galway.

The remains were located this afternoon during a search operation at Derryhassan.

Detectives have thanked the public for their help.
