Gardaí are carrying out searches of premises and lands in Co Galway as part of their investigation into the disappearance of a woman in 1985.
Barbara Walsh, who was married with a young family, was last seen at her home in Carna, Co Galway at 4am on 22nd June that year at the age of 33.
She was reported missing seven days later.
A review of the case was launched last January as part of an ongoing review of all missing persons in the area. A senior investigating officer was appointed and an incident room was established.
Gardaí generated 112 lines of inquiry after interviewing 60 people.
The new searches are being concentrated at Rusheenamanagh, Carna.
