Gardaí have recovered a number of valuable Irish paintings that were stolen in a burglary at a house in County Wicklow last October.

The artworks include Portrait of a Lady by Sir John Lavery, Paul Henry's Landscape with Cottage, and The Fern in the Area by Jack B Yeats.

The paintings have now been taken to Garda Headquarters for examination.

Gardaí say no arrests have been made in connection with the heist, and the investigation is continuing.
