Three men have been arrested under Operation Thor, following a number of offences.

A 40-year-old is being held at Ashbourne Garda Station in connection with an armed robbery at a shop in Dunboyne, Co Meath, on Thursday 15th October.

A man in his late 30s is being detained at Mullingar Garda station for a number of offences yesterday, including robbery of a taxi driver, robbery of a pharmacy, attempted hijacking of a car and the robbery of a handbag in the Mullingar area.

And another man in is late 30s was arrested after the theft of a handbag and keys of a car. The car later crashed and the man was arrested at the scene, near Birr in Co Offaly.
