A second man has died following an early morning crash in Co Louth.
The car they were travelling in hit a bridge and then a tree at Hunterstown on the Ardee to Collon Road at around 1:30 a.m.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the second man died this morning at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
They were both aged in their 20s and believed to be from Louth.
The N2 was closed this morning and traffic diversions put in place.
