Gardai in Dublin are investigating after a man was stabbed on Parnell Square yesterday.
A 25-year-old victim received serious injuries to his face during the incident on Parnell Square North at around 4pm yesterday.
The injured man then made his way to Temple Street Children's hospital and was transferred by ambulance shortly afterwards to the Mater hospital, where his injuries were described as non life threatening.
No arrests have yet been made and the scene was preserved for a technical examintaion.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Parnell Sq North between the 3.50pm and 4.10pm yesterday to contact them at Mountjoy Station.
