Gardaí in Co Meath are treating the discovery of a man's body as suspicious.
The body was discovered this morning at Walterstown, Dunboyne - near the Meath / Kildare border.
The man is believed to have been in his 20s, and has yet to be formally identified.
Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
The body remains at the scene this afternoon, and a forensic & technical examination will be carried out.
The office of the state pathologist has been notified.
An incident room has been established at Ashbourne Garda Station, and enquiries are said to be ongoing.
