Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after the body of a man lay undiscovered in a car in Galway for days.
Detectives believe the man - who was in his 70s - died after his car crashed into trees on the outskirts of the city.
The car was spotted this afternoon by a member of the public, but it's thought he could have been there for some time.
A post mortem will be carried out at Galway University Hospital, while a technical exam is taking place tonight at the scene on the N6 close to Oranmore.
The death is not thought to be suspicious, but Gardaí would like to hear from anyone with information.
