Update 9:25am
Gardaí are investigating after shots were fired in Dublin late last night.
The army bomb squad was also called to the scene in Firhouse.
Gardai say they're looking into all of the circumstances surrounding last night's incident in Firhouse.
At about 10.20pm officers were called to Glencarrig Drive after reports of several shots.
Damage was caused to the window of one home and Gardai also noticed a suspect device in the vicinity.
They evacuated a number of houses and called the bomb squad in, but army experts declared the device a hoax.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to contact Rathfarnham Garda Station.
