Gardaí have arrested six people in connection with the murder of a man in Kildare in March of this year.

Silvestras Stoskus' body was found in Broadfrod on the 18th of March.

The 20-year-old had been missing from his home in Kinnegad in Co Westmeath since the 8th of March.

A murder inquiry was launched following a post mortem and Gardai have now detained six people - three men and three women in their mid 20s to late 40s.

They are being detained at Lucan, Naas, Athlone and Mullingar under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act and Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
