Gardaí have arrested a man in relation to an incident that occurred at Terrace Place in Dublin last night.

At around 7.25pm yesterday, a man travelling in a taxi allegedly produced a firearm and demanded cash from the driver.

He then left the scene on foot.

A 31-year-old has been arrested and is currently detained at Mountjoy Garda Station.

Investigations are ongoing.
