Gardai have arrested a man in connection with the theft of livestock worth more than €100,000 in Co Donegal.

The man in his 30s was detained in a planned Garda operation this morning, and is being held at Ballyshannon Garda Station.

It is in connection with the theft of livestock from a farm in Kilbeggan in June this year.
