Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a male cyclist died yesterday.
The 71-year-old man was cycling with a group on the Castletownbere to Ardgroom road at about 4.40pm when he came off the bike and struck the ground.
His colleagues administered CPR until a doctor arrived however he was pronounced dead a short time later.

The man's body has been taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
