Gardaí in Kildare are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing teenager.

Nathan Mulligan (16) from Athy was last seen on the Dublin Road in the town yesterday afternoon.

He is described as being 5 foot 10 inches in height, of athletic build, with brown eyes and black hair which is shaved at the sides.

When last seen he was wearing a black coloured t-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and white runners.

Gardaí are concerned for Nathan's welfare and anyone with information is asked to contact Kildare Garda station, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
