A young woman who was murdered in Sligo Town this week was laid to rest today.
Hundreds of people turned out to pay their respects to the 23-year-old who was found dead at a house on Mail Coach Road in Sligo Town this week.
The first officers to arrive on the scene used a taser to subdue a man carrying a knife.

They have since charged a 33-year-old man with her murder.
Oisín Conroy, with an address in the town, was remanded in custody to appear in court again next Thursday after appearing at Sligo District Court on Thursday.
