Very wet weather over Munster and Connacht this morning, with some heavy and locally thundery falls of rain and some flooding. A mainly dry start elsewhere, but some rain developing later this morning and this becoming heavy and widespread, this afternoon and evening. Cool and breezy, top temperatures 14 to 17 C., Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds, will veer northwesterly on west and southwest coasts later.

Widespread rain early tonight, heavy and thundery in places and with some further local flooding. But drier conditions will develop over Munster, Connacht and west Leinster by dawn. Lowest temperatures 8 to 11 C., in mainly fresh and gusty northwesterly winds.
