Gardaí investigating the brutal murder of a 35-year-old man in County cork have arrested a man in his 30s.

Mikolaj Wilk died after he was attacked by a group of people in his home in Ballincollig on June 10th 2018.

He was taken by emergency services to Cork University Hospital where he died of his injuries.

This morning, a man in his 30s was arrested in the Cork area and taken to Togher Garda Station for questioning.

He is the fourth person to be arrested as part of the investigation.

Three men were arrested in Ballincollig last January following a series of Garda searches.

They were released without charge and Gardaí said a file was being prepared for the DPP.

Gardaí said their investigations are ongoing.
