Anyone planning on flying to Germany today is being warned of strike action.
Baggage handlers and airport security officials are holding half day strikes at a number of airports across the country.
Aer Lingus has cancelled its scheduled flights to and from Berlin and Munich this morning - although flights later in the day are expected to operate.

The airline says customers who were due to travel on the cancelled flights can either change to another date for free online or request a full refund.
Meanwhile, German carrier Lufthansa has cancelled 900 flights as a result of the strike.
