Flights from Dublin Airport and several airports across the UK are being delayed by problems at England's national air traffic control centre.

It's all down to problems switching from night-time to daytime operations at Swanwick in Hampshire.

Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick airports have been cancelling flights.

Hold-ups of three hours are being reported in some cases, but aviation experts are warning it could get worse. 

Intending passengers are advised to check with their airline before travelling.
