Five men arrested in connection with a major security alert in Lurgan last weekend - remain in custody.

Detectives from the PSNI's Serious Crime Branch investigating the attempted murder of police in the town are continuing to question the five who were arrested yesterday and today.

They are aged from their late twenties to mid forties.

The PSNI is urging people to remain vigilant in the town after a bomb exploded there on Saturday.

It is believed the intention was to lure security services to the scene with a decoy device, before detonating the second explosive.
