A new opinion poll shows support for the Labour party is now under the 10 per cent threshold, at just 8 per cent.
According to the Millward Brown poll for today's Sunday Independent, 37 per cent of respondents said they didn't know who they'd support if a general election was held tomorrow.
Fine Gael have jumped three points - they now stand at 29 per cent, while Fianna Fail slip 1 point to 28 per cent - with Sinn Fein on 19 per cent.
It means Fine Gael have now overtaken Fianna Failmas the most popular party in the country.
It's bad news for Labour, who have now slipped back to pre-election levels of support.
