A Fine Gael TD has branded David Drumm's apology in today's Sunday Business Post as pathetic and insulting to the Irish people.

The Former CEO of Anglo has said he is sorry for the language used in the tapes, saying the recordings are 'both embarrassing and shocking'.

Mr Drumm also said there was no attempt to hide financial problems at the bank, or to trick the government into giving it money.
