A female jogger chased down a man who sexually assaulted her while she was on a run and made him kneel down while she kicked him. 

Veena Ashiya Chindlur of Banglapore, India, was jogging down the street when KR Suryaprakash decided to make lewd noises and remarks at her. 

Instead of letting it go, as many of the women in India are forced to do, Veena took matters into her own hands and chased him down, told him to kneel on the ground and then kicked him in the head and demanded an apology. 

Veena's friend managed to capture the entire incident on her phone and the man was later arrested by Bangladore Police, reported the Bangladore Mirror.  

Veena told the Banglapore Mirror that police had been very supportive, but some were "unable to digest the fact that women can also retaliate and called the incident orchestrated".

"My friend took out her phone to click his pictures and ended up shooting the episode. This is called orchestrated by some on Facebook, which is very sad.

"The fact that women can react and hit back is just not acceptable in our society," she added.
