Concerns being raised about the safety of Fire Fighters when out on duty.

It comes after an incident in Dublin last night in which stones were thrown at officers when they attended the scene of a bonfire at basin street flats.

The blaze caused disruption to red line Luas services, with no services between Heuston and Blackhorse stops.

Three units were sent to deal with the blaze.

That incident is under investigation by Gardaí.
