An expert witness has told a medical inquiry that he does not agree with the treatment provided by Dr Peter Van Geene.

Peter McKenna, Clinical Director and a former Master of the Rotunda Hospital, is giving evidence on day five of the Fitness to Practice Inquiry of Mr Van Geene.

Mr Van Geene is accused of Poor Professional Practice in the treatment of four women at Aut Even Private Hospital Kilkenny.

Dr McKenna says he would regard as Poor Professional Practice the treatment given by Mr Van Geene in relation to one patient.
