Gardai say they're concerned for the welfare of a woman, who gave birth to a baby which was abandoned in south county Dublin this afternoon.
Gardai and an ambulance were called to Rathcoole this afternoon, where the infant girl was discovered alone.

Jury dismisses case claiming gardaí assaulted three Mayo men

Three Mayo men have failed to persuade a High Court jury they were unlawfully assaulted by gardai at a Shell to Sea protest.
The jury dismissed the case brought by Ballina farmer Patrick Coyle and couldn't agree on the claims made by fishermen Patrick and Martin O'Donnell.
