US special counsel Robert Mueller completes Russia probe and submits report

The US special counsel Robert Mueller has submitted his report on alleged interference in the 2016 presidential election.

The former FBI director was appointed by the Justice Department in 2017 to investigate the allegations.

He's now submitted the report to attorney general William Barr.

Funeral services have taken place for three teenagers who died outside a disco on St Patrick's night in Cookstown, Co Tyrone.

The three lost their lives in a crush, while queuing to get into the Greenvale Hotel.

17-year-old Lauren Bullock died at the scene - while Morgan Barnard, also aged 17, and 16-year-old Connor Currie died after being brought to hospital.

DUP claims British government 'bears responsibility for Brexit debacle' 

The DUP has accused Theresa May's government of bearing responsibility for the ongoing Brexit "debacle".

DUP deputy leader Nigel Dodds has sharply criticised the British government, in the wake of Mrs May securing an Article 50 extension in Brussels.

He said the government's been "far too willing to capitulate" to the EU.

Explosive device found in Limerick believed to be linked to UK packages

A viable improvised explosive device has been found at the Limerick An Post sorting office.

Police believe it's linked to a number of similar devices sent to locations in the UK earlier this month.

The suspicious package in Limerick was discovered by staff shortly after 6:00am on Friday morning.

Two people killed after crash in north Dublin

A man and woman have died following a road traffic collision in north Dublin.

The collision between two vehicles happened at Drumcondra Road Lower, at the junction of Hollybank Road, at around 6.30am on Friday.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene, and a forensic collision investigation was carried out.
