The 21-year-old's body was taken from the water at Galway Docks this morning after he went missing on March 31. He was last seen leaving a nightclub in Galway.
Another body was was taken from the water at Galway Bay yesterday but his identity has yet to be established. Gardai have been searching for Anthony Henehan from Roscommon, in that area.
Dublin Fire Brigade say 6 units are battling the fire at a 220 voltage substation on Jamestown Rd in Inchicore after a transformer caught fire.
Some 15,000 homes and businesses in the west of the city were without power supply for under an hour after the fire broke out.
ESB crews have been dispatched and the area has been made safe.
The pilot made the report to the police after safely landing the plane that was coming from Geneva, at around lunchtime.
Initial inquiries indicated that an object - believed to be a drone - struck the front of the plane upon approaching the airport.
Death toll rises to 235 after powerful earthquake in Ecuador
An earthquake measuring 7.8 in magnitude has killed at least 235 people in Ecuador with hundreds of people left injured. A tsunami warning was previously issued but has since been lifted.
Five helicopters and 80 buses are taking 4,000 police to the affected area, according to the country's home ministry. It's also reported that rescuers werestruggling to reach survivors trapped in the rubble.
Authorities say the quake is the most powerful to hit the country since the 1970's. Officials say that the quake has caused "considerable damage" and the country's vice-president Jorge Glas has declared a state of emergency in the West of the country.
George Clooney says that funds he raised for Hilary Clinton was 'obscene'
Hollywood actor George Clooney, has said that the money gathered at fundraisers he held for Hillary Clinton, was 'obscene.'
Speaking on NBC, Clooney commented on events, such as one in San Francisco, where $353,400 was reached per couple.
Clooney said:
"I think it’s an obscene amount of money. I think – you know that we had some protesters last night when we pulled up in San Francisco and they’re right to protest, they’re absolutely right, it is an obscene amount of money."
