More than 2,500 properties around the country are without power this morning.
There are a number of faults on the electricity network throughout the country - the largest of which is in Dublin where almost 1,400 households are without supply in Carrickmines.
Power outages have also hit locations in Cork, Donegal, Offaly, Kildare, Clare and Meath.
ESB crews are working to restore supply this morning.

Met Éireann has issued a number of rainfall weather warnings for areas around the country. The warnings are in place until this afternoon.
