Members of the public have lined the streets of Dublin to pay their respects to Emma Mhic Mhathúna.
Emma was one of the 221 women with cervical cancer who were given incorrect smear results, and became one of the public faces of the scandal after she spoke about her experiences.
The 37-year-old mother of five died in Co Kerry on Sunday.
President Michael D Higgins and his wife Sabina were among the hundreds of people attending her funeral mass at the Pro Cathedral in Dublin this lunchtime.
Vicky Phelan, whose court case brought the CervicalCheck scandal to public attention, and Stephen Teap, who lost his wife Irene to cervical cancer last year, are also in attendance.

The funeral procession made its way through the streets of the capital this afternoon - including stops outside Leinster House, Government Buildingsand the Department of Health on Baggot Street.

It's reported that Emma chose the route not to lay blame at the Government's door - but to make politicians ask themselves if they could do better in future to help other women affected by the cervical screening controversy.In his homily at the funeral mass this afternoon, Fr Paddy Moran said: "To Emma, thanks for being you and thanks for being such a powerful force of nature and a wonderful force for good. Thank you for touching the hearts of so many people when they heard you telling your story.
"Thank you for the gift of your children. They are wonderful and you will always live through them. Thank you Emma. You were and will always be a blessing for us all. "

A separate funeral mass was held for the mother-of-five in Ballydavid, County Kerry yesterday.
After today's mass, her remains will then be brought to Laragh Bryan Cemetery in Maynooth, Co Kildare for burial.
