Two homes have been severely damaged after a major fire in Mullingar, County Westmeath.
It broke out just after 8:30pm this evening at Lakepoint Housing Estate.
Two homes have been extensively damaged.

There are no reports of any serious injuries but some people are being treated for smoke inhalation.
Emergency services are still at the scene and Gardaí will examine the scene tomorrow.
