There are further reports this morning of dissent within Fianna Fáil.
Deputy Eamon O'Cuiv, who is the grandson of the party's founding father Eamon De Valera, has told the Sunday Independent that there's an 'absolute collapse in self-belief' within the party. He said that as it stands, Fianna Fáil is set to be a "small niche party."
In today's Red C poll the party remained unchanged at 18 per cent.
Previous reports suggest Fianna Fail leader Michael Martin faces a heave if they do not perform well in the upcoming Carlow/Kilkenny by-election.
