A EuroMillions winner has just days left to claim a €500,000 prize they won earlier this year.

The winning ticket was for the draw on Tuesday 1st October and was sold in the Mace store in Kilbarrack shopping centre in Dublin.

However, the winner has yet to claim their prize - and the deadline to claim is close of business this coming Monday, 30th December.

Manager of the shop, Ellen McManus, has appealed to customers to check their tickets before the deadline this Monday.

She said: "We are absolutely amazed that we haven’t heard from the winner yet.

"When the prize was won in October, there was huge excitement in the town which makes it even more surprising that it still hasn’t been claimed.

"We are asking everybody in the area to thoroughly check their homes, cars and maybe even their old handbags to see if they have the winning ticket hidden away.”

The winning numbers for the prize are 09, 18, 26, 32, 43.

The winner is being urged to sign the back of their ticket and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims Team on 01 836 4444.
