A truck overturned in the Dublin Port Tunnel earlier today, leading to both bores of the tunnel being closed for several hours.

The north and south bores of the tunnel have now reopened following the incident.

There are no reports of injuries, but it had a significant impact on traffic this morning.

Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene.

The 5+ axle ban for Dublin City was temporarily lifted due to the incident, but gardaí say it is now back in force.
