A 29-year-old Dublin man has appeared before an extradition hearing in Belfast.
Gary Flynn is wanted by Gardai in connection with the shooting of father-of-two Seamus O'Byrne in Tallaght four years ago.
Mr Flynn was arrested by PSNI officers in Ballymoney, Co Antrim yesterday afternoon.

His lawyer told the court he planned to fight his extradition to the Republic.
He's been remanded in custody to appear in court again on Friday.
