The group has been tweeting photos of all lost phones since mid-May in the hopes that people may recognise them and get in touch.
If a phone is left on a bus, it is first brought back to the depot that the bus operates from and then it is collected and brought to Lost Property the next day.
Dublin Bus says that between January and June this year, on average 117 mobile phones were left into the Dublin Bus’ Lost Property Office each month.
During that same period, the monthly average for phones reunited with their owners was 40. The company says that if a phone has not been claimed with 28 days, it is donated to charity.
