Authorities at Dublin airport are still looking for the owner of an old photograph of two small children  left at a check in desk earlier this week.

They released the image Wednesday, in an effort to get the public's help in tracking down the picture's owner.

The old black and white image shows two small children playing in the 1940s.

They are continuing to appeal for the public's help.

It is thought the person who owned the photograph could have been traveling to the UK because it is marked 'Birmingham, 1946'.

The BBC picked up the story yesterday, and it is hoped that could help in the search.
