Donald Trump walked out of a signing ceremony yesterday - without signing the executive orders he was meant to sign.
One order focused on identifying potential foreign trade abuses, while another tightened the country's anti-dumping laws.
Reporters and camerapeople were invited to witness the ceremony in the Oval Office, which featured remarks from President Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and the administration's secretary of commerce Wilbur Ross.
President Trump pledged the orders would see 'very, very strong results'.
However, once he concluded his remarks, Trump faced immediate questions from reporters about a tweet regarding his former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
After Mr Flynn's lawyer said his client had a 'story to tell' to the ongoing probe about potential links between Trump officials and Russia 'should circumstances permit', the US president tweeted:
Mike Flynn should ask for immunity in that this is a witch hunt (excuse for big election loss), by media & Dems, of historic proportion!

As he faced questions over the tweet, President Trump simply left the room.
CNN reports that Mr Pence followed with the folders containing the orders, which the president later signed 'behind closed doors'.
