The Dáil will vote next week on whether to set up a Commission of Investigation into NAMA.
The motion has been tabled by Fianna Fáil and will be debated next Thursday.
Until now the government has always refused calls to set up a full inquiry into the agency's conduct, and the sale of its Northern loan book.

However opposition parties say the existing inquiries by the Public Accounts Committee will not have enough power to get to the bottom of allegations about how the sale was handled.
