Cannabis with a street value of €360,000 has been seized at Portlaoise Mail Centre in Co Laois.

18 kilos of the drug were discovered in three parcels sent from South Africa and Nigeria to addresses in Dublin city. One of revenue's detector dogs helped locate the drugs.

Investigations are ongoing.
