There's still no sign of a breakthrough in the Dublin Bus dispute, with strike action now looking likely to go ahead tomorrow.

Bus services in Dublin are set to come to a standstill in a dispute over the implementation of a major cost cutting plan.

Minister of State at the Department of Transport Alan Kelly called on Siptu, the NBRU and Dublin Bus to engage in talks to avert a strike.

Businesses in the capital are also expressing concern over the strike, and are appealing to both sides to reach agreement.

Unions say they're open to negotiations.

Media and Communications Manager with Dublin Bus, Clíodhna Ní Fhátharta  urged employees to think again before engaging in industrial action.
