Most parents would be happy that their child was killing time in an airport by doing something creative, but not when they're touching up important documentation.

The Metro UK reports that a Chinese man was prevented from flying home from Korea with his family after his son vandalised his passport.

Pictures posted on social media site Weibo show the results of the four year-old's handiwork, which left his father looking considerably more hirsute.

Unable to grow a similar amount of facial hair before his flight, he was told by airport officials that his passport would not be accepted and he would have to contact his embassy to get another.
