A cyclist has been killed in a traffic accident in Ballymena.

The 51-year-old man died following a collision with a bus on the Waveney Road at around 8:45pm last night.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) have appealed to anyone who witnessed the accident, or has information about it, to contact them.

Bridge Street was closed in the area for several hours but re-opened during the early hours of this morning.
